interest clinical terms general term definition pdc (proportion of days covered) a cms adopted measure for adherence; % of days a patient has medication on hand days covered the number of days that are covered by a respective medication or medication class best end of year pdc reflects highest possible pdc that can be acheived by the end of the year for that member this assumes that all future days in the year are covered by a medication in the measure's medication class worst end of year pdc reflects lowest possible pdc that can be acheived by the end of the year for that member this prescriptions for opioids from four or more different prescribers during the measurement year multiple pharmacies the percentage of members receiving prescriptions for opioids from four or more different pharmacies during the measurement year multiple prescribers and multiple pharmacies the percentage of members receiving prescriptions for opioids from four or more different prescribers and four or more different pharmacies during the measurement year (i e , the percentage of members who are numerator compliant for both the multiple prescribers and multiple pharmacies rates) note a lower
