Welcome to Automations

This is where you can automate actions to close care gaps! The goal of automations is to enhance efficiency and effectiveness without needing additional human resources.

Read each section below to learn about all the possible automations

All automations (workflows and funnels) are grouped into goals (you can think of it like a folder). This allows users a birds-eye view of which automations are working towards which goals.

Goals are user defined. You create goals when you build a workflow or a funnel. Once created,

Goal names can be edited, but a goal cannot be deleted

In a goal card, you can click on either the section for workflows or funnels, and you will be directed to the respective workflows or funnels that are in that goal.

A workflow is an intervention that you can set up to run automatically!

In the workflows tab: you can view all current workflows, or customize the view by searching for a specific goal in the search bar. You can also access this custom view by clicking on a Goal in the Goals tab.

Here you can see all the components of each workflow. You can view even more details by clicking on the "Edit Workflow" icon under "Actions". "Edit Workflow" will allow you to edit the Frequency of Run and the Goal for that workflow. If you wish to change other components, you will need to create a new workflow.

You can also archive a workflow under "Actions".

How can I tell that my Workflow is working?

Your workflow should be running at the frequency listed under "State".

Watch the Action Count increase from 2 types of actions: (1) when an intervention is first automatically identified and acted on (via fax/text/AI call), and (2) when an intervention that has previously been acted on an paused, has finished its pause period.

Watch # Care Gaps Closed increase each time that an intervention is closed.

Workflows will not generate anything in Manual Interventions - it will repeat until the gap closes.

A funnel is a multi-layered workflow. Funnels allow you to contact patients and providers from multiple angles in order to better close the care gap. After one step of the funnel runs, the funnel will pause for the specified number of days, then it will run the next step on patients who were not closed from the previous step.

By default, all funnels have a final step, which is "Raise Manual Intervention". If a patient has reached the end of the funnel and has still not closed their care gap, then they will be added into Manual Interventions under "Intervention Opportunities". This will allow the care team to continue working the patient.

How can I tell that my Funnel is working?

Watch the Target audience counter increase each time a patient is actioned on. Watch Gaps closed increase each time a gap is closed.

Once the Funnel has completed all steps, interventions for patients who did not close their gap will drop into Intervention Opportunities (Manual Interventions) to give the Care Team a chance to continue working the patient.
