### Threshold Indicator

| Value | Meaning                      |
| ----- | ---------------------------- |
| 1     | PDC ≥ 80% at both timepoints |
| 2     | Increased from \<80% to ≥80% |
| 3     | Remained \<80%               |
| 4     | Dropped from ≥80% to \<80%   |

## Overview

This report summarizes the correlation between medication adherence and care gap impact for three CMS Medicare Stars adherence measures:

- MedicareStarsRAS (Medication Adherence for RAS Medications)
- MedicareStarsStatin (Medication Adherence for Statin Medications)
- MedicareStarsDM (Medication Adherence for Diabetes Medications)

It includes metrics at the care gap level such as closure timelines, outreach efforts, and changes in medication adherence over time, measured via Proportion of Days Covered (PDC).

## Use Case

This report is designed to:

- Track which members received outreach and how frequently
- Assess adherence improvements following interventions
- Identify performance patterns based on outreach types and timing
- Understand which members crossed the 80% PDC threshold
- Correlate interventions with Stars adherence impact

## Data Sources

## Report Columns

### Care Gap Metrics

### Member Info

Includes member ID, MD number, first name, last name, and plan line of business (LOB).

## Medication Adherence (PDC)

### Definitions

- **Pre-Gap PDC**: Member's PDC on the date the care gap was created
- **Current PDC**: Member's PDC as of the latest available data
- **Delta**: Change in PDC between the two dates

## Notes & Considerations

- **Missing Pre-Gap PDC**: A care gap may lack a historical PDC if it was created before the member’s first fill of the year.
- **Filtering**: Only includes care gaps where member is included in OneDash's calculated denominator per measure.
- **LOB Restriction**: Members must be enrolled in DSNP, EGWP, MAPD, or PDP plans.
- **Automation Attribution**: Actions are categorized as automated or manual using the creator field.

## Data Coverage

- The report respects the user-selected **Date From** and **Date To** values, which define the range for care gap creation dates.
- The “Current PDC” is always based on the latest available snapshot date across the respective measure’s dataset.
